The OG That Started It All: Mt. Rainier – Washington Floral Sunset Design
This past Fourth of July, I spent a few days down in Eatonville with my parents. I live in North Seattle now, so anytime I get to string together multiple day trips back home feels like a gift. My parents are in the middle of converting a short school bus into a camping van, and this visit marked the first time my daughter Lexi and I stayed overnight in the “skoolie.”
Halfway down to Eatonville, I realized I’d left my hoodie and jacket back in Seattle. Ugh—cold nights ahead! I told Lexi I wanted to stop by some local shops to hunt for a cute Mt. Rainier hoodie. My parents and Lexi humored me as we made the rounds: Center Street Junction, Kirk’s Pharmacy, the Mill Haus, even the pop-up stands at the Fourth of July celebration.
But no luck. I couldn’t find the hoodie—something stylish, feminine, and worthy of Mt. Rainier’s beauty. I ended up borrowing one of my mom’s hoodies and had a great weekend, but the idea stuck with me.
Weeks later, I was still thinking about it. I searched Etsy, Amazon, Google—nothing felt right. That’s when it hit me: if I’m looking for this and can’t find it, maybe others are too. So I decided to create it myself.
After about 70 AI prompts and two weeks of refining, my Mt. Rainier- Washington Floral Sunset design was born. It’s the piece that started it all—and the one that made me realize Anderson Creatives WA could be more than just a dream.
